Grade II listed Buckinghamshire cottage lime plastering

This beautiful Grade II listed cottage was suffering the effects of modern cement-based plasters. In areas the plaster had failed and was coming away from the wall. We replastered a few areas in the cottage however this blog will show the original timber framed wall being re plastered with an NHL 2 with high free lime content (researched specifically for this quality) and finished with a lime putty top coat.
